Sunsets in Espoo

 Quick one this! Just came back from my friend, Sonja's, house, where we I slept over with two other friends Oona and Titta. We were lucky enough to have such nice weather, as you can see from these photos (were took that evening). I'm really glad that now basically all the stress that had been lingering over me has finally cleared out, and I know for certain which high school I'm going to be studying in next year... phew! I need some R&R...!

The one on the left is a bit of an odd photo, but atleast you can see the pretty crown Titta plaited for me.

Chameleon Behind The Lens

Heya!
I'm updating my blog in the night, again, but this time there is a good reason. I've had a busy, yet great day today spent with friends from my (old) class. YAY the sales have started in most places here, which means stepping outside becomes very dangerous... Commercials, shopping bags, nearby shopping centres and shops combined with my wallet, which just happened to tag along... I have to be very careful, since I don't want to use up my whole summer's worth of money before I even travel (With the amount of shoes, bags and clothes I saw and liked, it could very well be possible.) : D Oh well I still bought some cool basics which ofcourse I needed anyways.

My absolute favourite of the bunch!

 Hello you!
Looking out of the window at this time of the year in Finland tells you just about nothing about what the time is. Ten in the night may as well be six o'clock in the evening for all the light can indicate. During the past few days I've woken up in the morning with the lovely bright light puoring in through the windows. I've walked through the house wondering, why is everyone sleeping... Turns out that no, it is not eleven o'clock, but five thirty.
Oh well I can't complain, since these are the times which I miss half of the year. I find this light oddly calming. It sounds silly, but when you live in the dark (literally) for two thirds of the year, simply the sizzling feeling of sun burning your back or waking up to see the sun up and shining can perform wonders.

Heatwave

Honestly who buys furs in summer? Even if they were fake. Me. To top the bizarreness, apparently it's going to be one of the hottest weeks of summer coming up. Hah! I'll wear my fake fur while reading Elle on my sofa any time of the year!

p.s. Hope all of you who've finished school already have been enjoying this lovely free time! And for those still working or studying - it will end, eventually :)
