Just had to reblog some images from probably my favourite blog. I always go completely silent when I visit Shits & Giggs and this time was no exeption. Sorry for the lack of proper text... I'm suffering from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and it's dark and cold out. Hopefully the weather is better wherever you are!

Trip Down Memory Lane

Found this stunning editorial a few days ago, but only got round to posting it today. I love the colours and contrasts.. for a split second, I almost wanted to colour my hair scarlet! Luckily, however, I pictured myself with red hair and realised it not to be a good idea. At all. Pictures three and four are probably my favourite... Just beautiful.

Golden cuffs from a flea market

MWAH so happy about our week's Autumn break! Just returned from Sweden earlier today, where my sisters and mother spent a cold, but nice day. Really my only target was to get to Urban Outfitters as quickly as possible.. And hah, boy was it worth it! It's just my favourite shop, and there are few things I like more than to browse through (extensive) racks of gooorge clothes and accesories. When I finally walked out, I was accompanied by a new skirt, shirt (both pictured above), golden dangly cross earings and a satisfied smile.
    After a bit of materialistic fun, we headed to one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I probably would never have discovered this place, which looked like a normal door into an old building, but let me tell you, this was some of the best food I've had in quite some time - and all vegetarian! Bean salads, hummus, lasagne, delish breads with spreads and many other dishes, of which I'm not too sure what to call them. Very tasty. Hope all of you have been enjoying yourselves, if not during holiday, than during school/work!

Chills

Yesterday was autumn at its finest. After a long session of arts at school, I met my best friend for tea (and a cinnamon bun - love) at one our favourite cafés in town. Sitting by a charming boulevard shadowed by orange-leaved trees and sipping tea with good company is how autumn really should be spent, if you ask me! For a second I almost forgot that I was in Helsinki.. or maybe I just got to like it a bit more.

      As I was cycling back, I stopped to take the scenery pictures in which you can see the sun setting right at the back. Unfortunately my camera ran out of battery before I managed to catch a photo really capturing the sunset.. Ah well!
