The past week here in Helsinki has been the ski break of students. For most this means going either to Lapland or the Alps to ski, but me it meant a social celibate at my cottage. I did manage to go cross country skiing though, which made things a wee bit better. 

I'll leave you with my obsession; embellished collars. I think it could be taken further than just plain shirts - I'm thinking a warm fluffy winter coat in a pastel shade with a small fur collar. cuute.

It's been a while

There really is not excuses for my lack of blogging, but hope there are still some out there interested! Here are some shots from the past month or so, which have either been taken by me or by my little sister, Freija.

SHHUDDERS it's less than ten degrees Celsius outside, meaning winter is on full blow now.. Luckily the brilliant white snow lightens it all up and reflects the sunlight during the day! Recently I've been scouring the internet, catalogs and shops admiring the lovely spring collections. Looking outside however, we still have a long time to go... All the best x

In the form of turquoise dip dyed hair. What a fun accessory! Unfortunately my camera isn't working properly, so I can't take any pictures of the delish Christmas things I've got up to.. Only 2 days left, everyone!
p.s. I DO, in fact, do other things apart from drink tea with friends. But only because I have to.

Good evening! Decided to continue the list of my favourite little things of with a few tracks I'm more or less crazed about right now. They're each pretty different from each other, but (to me) very easy on ear. Enjoy!   

These are a few of my favourite things

It is the time of the year, when waking up really becomes hard in the morning. It is the time when the sun manages to shine for only a couple of golden hours per day. This, obviously, is extremely hard to cope with, but not to worry! I will not suffer half a year, just because the sun isn't shining, plus nothing can be done about it, so why worry? :) My solution to this pickle was to start posting about things I am in love with at the moment. Oh, how there are many things, I realise! To begin with, I wanted to share some stunning black and whites, which so often leave me in awe. Enjoy x

I have been so tired today and have had an annoying headache, that my only plans are to watch "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" and sleep.. I might even skip the movie haha I'm quite worn out (from er having a headache..). Anyhoo I wish all the best. Have a lovely rest of the weekend x

P.S. I'm crazy happy, because my favourite band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, is coming to Finland next summer. So happy!!

Evening!

Just had to reblog some images from probably my favourite blog. I always go completely silent when I visit Shits & Giggs and this time was no exeption.
