Morning Light

I couldn't leave these photos unposted... The sky was just gorgeus! It's little things like these that make getting up at 6.00(ish) o'clock that much easier. These kinds of pretty mornings barely occur anymore (the photos were taken last week) and Finland will have to start waking up in the same conditions they went to bed in... Enjoying the beautiful autumn while it lasts!

I was browsing through the Urban Outfitters' website and found these lovelies... UGH have to wait 'till October, until I finally get the chance to shop there, since the closest Urban Outfitters is in Sweden.. :D Ah well, I'm especially tempted by the jacket and boots... Little Red Ridinghood for winter? Possibly.

AHOY here are a few pics from earlier this evening. I went on a walk with my good friend, which ended up with us perched on a bench by the sea talking. Haha typical... The scenery is from one of my favourite parts of Helsinki, Eira, but unfortunately the pictures aren't very clear... Ah well, these will have to do, i guess! Oh yes, I just realised that Beyoncé is a superwoman. AMAZING.

Autumn Inspiration



 

Hehheh I know I've been a really rubbish blogger lately,  but I've just been having so much fun with all the new things going on, I've simply not had enough time! New school comes with new everything, and I'm so glad, that so far most of it has been brilliant.

I'm a bit confused about what to think about autumn right now... I love wrapping up in layers of different fabrics and knits. I also love the beautiful shades of orange that emerge during this time of the year, BUT I cannot stand the cold. I'd love to sail through these chilly seasons feeling happy and wearing clothes because I like the look of them, not because I need them. There is a significant difference! Anyways, I'll a way to pull through. I mean, I have so far! To anyone suffering from the approaching chill, I hope to pass warmth through these pics!

Uma Bica, Por Favor !

Evening!
Last weekend my mother and I visited the stunning Lisbon. The whole city looked as though a single design couldn't be decided upon, so everyone got their own slot of a building and decorated it as they liked. Dramatic colours and strong features lay quite peacefully next to a white, lacy neighbouring slot. It, to me, portrayed true latino temperament - fantastic!
We didn't want this to primarily be a shopping trip, so we explored the different parts of the city. By foot. Yes, it was very tiring, but all worth it! The narrow streets of the old town, Alfama, were charming, yet filled with the kinds of people you really wanted to avoid. (Bags under your arms, girls!) I was , however, (very) pleasantly surprised when we bumped into a beautiful shopping street in Chiado during one of our escapades. Very nice! Found a few staples, such as a long, dark chocolate coloured cardigan and a pair of black skinnies (to mostly make up for leggings), but I also found a nice stripy blazer. The blazer will be great with an otherwise plain look. Just to jazz things up a wee bit!
